Hi guys!
So this week has been a very interesting one. Not only did I
develop an intense love for Harry Styles, discover the joys of Earl Grey tea,
and break in my new Converse (ouch!), I also… wait for it… moved out! To
MELBOURNE!!! Fireworks, clapping, cheering, WOOP WOOP, yaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, I finally accepted the fact that I am a nearly 19 year
old high school graduate, and that it was about time my life started being just
that: MY life. My parents decided we’d better have one last family bonding
session, so we set out on a lovely 17 hour road trip from Northern New South
Wales to Melbourne, my brother and I tucked into the backseat, squashed between
eskies, shoes, and sleeping bags. Does anyone else love sitting in the car for
days on end, reading Harry Potter and watching the ‘Kiss You’ video over and
over again? Because I definitely do!!
Anyway, today I thought I’d put together a bit of an
‘Outfits of the Week’ type post, just to give you an idea of what I’ve been
wearing during all this traveling around. We’ve been staying in the city for
the past couple of days, so these outfits will also give you an idea of what I
like to wear when running about from one post-Christmas sale to the next.
Please note that, as I had already packed all my clothes away for the move, I
was limited to just a couple of pieces, hence the repeated use of the brown bag
and black Cons.
Enjoy and let me know what you think below! J
Dress, Ralph Lauren
Jacket, charity shop
Shoes, Converse
Bag, flea market
Bra, Cotton On Body

BRUNSWICK STREET GIG: I wore this when I went out to see a
band with my friends. The lead singer looked like Daniel Radcliffe, sang a lot
of sensual funk, and got off the stage to serenade me and pinch my cheek…

MOVING IN- I recently went on a DIY rampage and cut up a
whole bunch of old band tees, including this one featuring Jim Morrison’s sexy
face. This look would look a little more hardcore (ha) with a pair of Docs.

COLD DAY IN ST KILDA This outfit was an attempt at adapting
to the extremely sporadic weather of
good old Melbourne town.
| Dress, charity shop Shirt, Roxy Shoes, Converse Bag, flea market |
DINNER IN THE CITY- I wore the white mesh crop top over the
black dress, just to sort of break up the colour a little. I think this outfit
would look particularly good with slicked back hair and a red lip (or coral?)

The bag is amazing ! Love all the looks ! <3
